Guides that tell the truth
The tour could strand you on step two. Alignment guides drew one line where several edges were genuinely lined up. Both fixed, along with a sound setting that promised a language it could not deliver.
Fixes:
- The tour could leave you stuck. If the step it was pointing at sat low on the page, the little card carrying Next and Skip was drawn past the bottom edge of the window — with the page dimmed behind it and no way to reach either button. It now stays on screen wherever the step is, and scrolls the thing it is describing into view first.
- Alignment guides now show every edge that is really lined up, not just the one you happened to drag. Resize something centred and both sides arrive together, so both are marked. Drop a half-width element into the left half and it will tell you the outer edge is on the canvas edge and the inner one is on the centre — because both are true.
- Resizing sometimes jumped to an alignment and drew nothing at all to say why. It was snapping correctly and simply not explaining itself, on more than half the snaps that moved anything.
Changed:
- Generated sound is now off unless you ask for it. Turning it on hands the whole soundtrack to the model, voice included, and the model picks the language — so a clip could come back speaking English no matter what you wrote, and sound also forces a higher resolution, which costs more. Clips are quiet and cheaper by default now. For a voice in a language you choose, write dialogue in the storyboard and let Lucy speak it.
